Why is only Photo Booth is blurry and zoomed in?

My Photo Booth app looks very blurry and pixelated and it's hard to get a decent picture, especially with flash. When there is flash, it's too overexposed. If I open Ichat or another program it looks a lot better. I've compared it with several of my friend's Photo Booth side by side and only mines has bad quality.

I've screenshotted with Ichat and Photo Booth open, you cannot really tell, but it is very very bad in person.

Yeah, I can tell the difference just from your screenshot - but I've no solution to offer as I've not seen this problem on my end at all.

I know that there are some third-party (paid) apps that let you make adjustments to your built-in camera... but I've never used any of them. Sight Control (available from the App Store) may help 'fix' your problems.

Also found something named iGlasses - take a look at it, too.
