Q: export problems

I have had problems trying to export photos. When i select export from the file menu the word "File" darkens for 10 to 20 seconds, then goes back to normal and nothing else happens, no export menu appears. I may have to choose "export" again up to three or four times before the "Export " menu finally popsup. Sometimes I have to restart Aperture before I can get the Export menu to pop up.  Anyone else have the problem?  Any suggestions for a fix.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), Aperture 3.4.3

    Try to narrow down the problem:

    1. Is is caused by your Aperture library? To check this, crate a new Aperture library, import a few pictures, and try to export.
    2. Is is caused by settings in your User account? Launch Aperture from a different user account and try exporting there.

     

     

    If the trouble occurs in all accounts, reinstall Aperture.
