Reboot the iPad and see if that behavior quits.

Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Have you tried what I suggested?

Hold down on both buttons at the same time until the Apple Logo appears on the screen - don't worry about the red slider bar as it may not even appear - but hold both buttons down until the Apple logo appears and then let go of the buttons.

The screen should go black after you hold the buttons down for a few seconds and then the Apple logo should appear.

Try:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

If that didn't work - Did you try any of the suggestions in the post from lllaass? You should probably take a look at the link provided for you - about an unresponsive iPad.

Pay attention to the last past about restoring the iPad. You may need to use recovery mode it the iPad will not restore or if the iPad is not being recognized in iTunes.

OK. Try this next.

Error 2000-2009 (2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2009, and so on)

If you experience this issue on a Mac, disconnect third-party devices, hubs, spare cables, displays, reset the SMC, and then try to restore. If you are using a Windows computer, remove all USB devices and spare cables other than your keyboard, mouse, and the device, restart the computer, and try to restore. If that does not resolve the issue, try the USB issue-resolution steps and articles listed for Error 1604 above. If the issue persists, it may be related to conflicting security software. If the errors persist on another computer and known-good USB cable, the device may need service.
