How do I view "Summary" on my iphone 4s in order to change to manually manage music option so audio books will transfer from my pc to my iphone 4s

ctrl S to show Sidebar.
You don't need to Manually manage Music & Videos to transfer audiobooks.
Just select the iPhone, click the Books tab and tick what you want on the iPhone.
