"steps A through N"

"If the USB device or SD card has not been formatted as MS-DOS (FAT), or if you're not sure,

follow steps A through N immediately below; otherwise go to step 5."

Can anyone tell what they're talking about with "steps A through N"?

I can't find any such steps anywehre in the document.

Look carefully. :-) I had assumed that "TS3173" would be sufficient, but I see that I was wrong.

The document in question was http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3173

I've since found a workaround, but it would still be interesting to find out what

the writer's intention was.

This is the Bootcamp forum. TS3173 is meaningless to us. You must have posted in some other place and your question was redirected here.

Ahem, I suppose that I must agree that "TS3173" doesn't have a meaning, per se, but the link that I posted, http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3173 is for an Apple Support document entitled

Boot Camp: iMac displays a black screen during installation of Windows 7

So, why did my question, which was indeed about a Boot Camp (not "Bootcamp" ha, ha) documentation and installation issue, not belong in this forum?
Anyway, my problem went away after a driver patch.

Thanks for your friendly help,

Mike
