Q: How can I tell who is connected to my Personal Hotspot

Hi Everyone,

 

Please can someone help me with suggestions or app to enable me know clients connected to my Personal Hotspot. I have used Fing App, is there a better way?

iPad (3rd gen) Wi-Fi + Cellular, iOS 6.0.1

    Well, since no one can connect unless they know your password, and a password is required, you should already know this.

    Yes it sounds more like that, both, sometimes password is only given for temporary use, sometimes its stolen from over the shoulders view, and sometimes from my device I don't want to stream data from my cellular data connection at that point in time. Any additional help?

    While devices are connected to Personal Hotspot, the status bar will be blue and will indicate the number of connected users. The maximum number of supported connections varies depending on your carrier or iOS model. You can disconnect users by turning off Personal Hotspot, unplugging your device, or turning off Bluetooth.
