How to delete an app

I don't want to update my iPad at this time or restore it. There is an app called HaHa All The fun on the web. I want to be able to remove this haha app from the App store update list. I don't have it installed and do not want to update or install it. It requires IOS6 and i still have IOS5 on my ipad. I cannot remember ever installing it and it does appear any where on my ipad so if i ever did install it, it is now deleted. All I want to do now is to get rid of this HaHa app appearing in the update list but I don't know how to do this. It's like a virus that will not go away.

Can anyone help???

You can Hide it.

In the App Store, just swipe your finger from right to left over the Install button, and It will turn to Hide.

You can't delete purchases, only hide them.

The point is, I don't have it installed. If I do I cant find it. I have searched the ipad for HaHa and nothing comes up. So it is not installed on my ipad yet this update remains in the App Store not allowing me to update (cause the update button is greyed out), nor does it let me delete it.

Even when I messaged the Apple support team, all i got was a reference to an Apple article to read, which didn't have anything close to a solution. I don't think they know what to do or have never has this problem happen before.

I think I might have to restore the ipad yo get rid of it, but that is a last resort
