can anyone explain why Apple only allow 2 tears max on Ipad warranty
my son's Ipad has stopped working after 2 years
he is not the only one that has had this happen

All we can say is "because that's what Apple decided". Anything else would be fruitless speculation. The iPad has a one-year factory warranty which can be extended to a total of two years with an AppleCare plan and that's it.

it was working ok run out of charge & that was it never to recharge again
I dont like the fact that they dont repair just change
they can replace my Iphone 4 s for £135 old for new so what they are saying is that it dosnt even cost them £135 to make but sell for £500

Apple can do an out-of-warranty exchange.
Seriously I believe they only allow two years because engineers know that the products they create will last only that long. The products they make are not meant for long-term use. Apple offers a year warranty without Apple care because the product will operate ok up until that point and they'll extend it to 2 with Apple Care because most people upgrade within that time frame. Apple products aren't really worth the value.
