ios 6.0.2 battery drain when update release

Is Apple aware of this issue? I've seen other Forums were people are having the same issue were the battery is being drain quickly on the IPad mini. The ios 6.0.2 was suppose to fix a wifi bug. I didn't notice any wifi issue before the update. One of the main reason that I purchased the mini was due to the 10 hour battery life. At this rate its lasting a few hours. I recently purchased it, so I really don't have much app's, I've turned off the location setting, Push e-mail to off, turned Bluetooth off..etc. Pretty much turned off any settings that could additionally run the battery. If Apple is aware of this issue, when could we expect a fix? Is anyone else having the same issue? I hope they fix this quickly! Thanks
