Safari Won't Print > Save As PDF

I've been having problems getting Safari 1.3.2 to Print > Save As PDF. Everytime I try this Safari locks up. I don't have a problem printing if I send the page to a printer.
This is happening on a Dual G5, 10.3.9.

Hi,

the very same is happening since a short while on my PowerBook.

I use Safari 2.0.3 (417.9.2) on Mac OS X 10.4.6.

Furthermore, when a server already generated a PDF document, which I can open in Preview, and I'm still not able to save this. It can only be printed.

And this was no protected document. Firefox is saving the PDF with no problem. Either the PDF doc I was viewing, ot any webpage that I'd like to print to PDF...

But I don't wanna use Firefox 😉

Someone help, pleeze.

Thanks

Dirk

Hello Scott and Dirk:

I just tried the save and it works fine here (not any help).

Try a couple of things. First, be sure you have the latest version of Adobe Acrobat reader (I believe that is 7.0.5).

Then trash all the preference files (com.adobe.......) - do a find on "plist" to locate them all.

I would also trash the Safari preference file (com.apple.safari.plist).

Restart and see if anything improves.
