Q: since I updated to IOS 6 I'm leery of any new updates as I'm still unhappy with no Google maps app and a couple of features that the update messed up for me. This "carrier" update give no details about what it is actually updating, has anyone performed t?

Yes I might be venting but... I read about the new Java update and what it does to Chrome and personally experienced a negative impact from upgrading my 4S to IOS6 -NO GOOGLE MAPS APP?????? So I am leery of any updates coming from Apple. Has anyone done this latest "carrier update" and had a negative experience?
