my fidelity stock widget disappeared and won't load
when I try to load it it pops up as if it's going to load then disappears although the x with a circle around it remains as if it's there...what's going on

If you are talking about the Dashboard widgets, Apple has stopped taking new Dashboard widgets in its Dashboard widgets directory as of February 2011. I can only surmise that it means the demise of widgets that don't get updated with new links.
