Is there any way to listen to audio output while recording input?

I'm a recording artist, and I need to record with a microphone while listening to audio from headphones. The Macbook Pro has only one audio input/output jack. Is there a way to attach an external audio port to the computer, so I can plug in my headphones and my microphone? That would be ideal.

(I don't trust Bluetooth headphones, by the way. My Bluetooth headphones are awful. If you don't use them for more than about 30 seconds, they disconnect, and you have to turn them off and then on again.)
