How do you clean a MacBook Pro screen without making it leave marks and smudges?

When I have been cleaning my Mac's screen, there have been some strange marks and smudges that are left after. Does anybody know how to get rid of these? Thanks.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

If anyone cares, i use an eyeglass cleaner designed for glasses for coated glasses. Turn off the computer, sprat some cleaner on a micro fiber cloth, support the screen from behind to keep it from from moving and clean the screen.. do not put any pressure on the screen, wipe gently, and if necessary do it again. Be very gentle, and support the screen.nesscesary. Gentle is the key word here. Hope this helps.

If you don't wear glasses you do not about lens cleaners, but that's what I use. I NEVER spray on to a screen - laptop or monitor - but spray on to a soft lint free rag. Then I wipe the screen with the rag. Been doing this for 25+ years without a mishap.

Your local optician should have plenty bottles of lens cleaner. No idea what they cost, I get mine free.
