Calendar not syncing all Google Calendar Events

I have multiple phones and other mobile devices that are currently working just fine with Google Calendar.

My iPad running iOS5 is able to sync to the Calendar just fine and all of my events display normally, all of my android devices are able to sync fine and display normally. The events also display on iCal on my Macbook Pro

However my iPhone 5 running the latest version of iOS is not able to sync fine.

For the most part it is just fine, it is able to display all events that are going to happen in the future, and all recurring events are just fine, the issue is that it is not displaying all past events on my iPhone. It will randomly not display events, and these are not isolated to All Day events or events with specific times.

This is only happening on my iPhone 5, has anybody experienced this?
