Thank you! Your directions worked like a charm!

I have the same issue with my iPad.
in BT panel on iPad I pressed on "Info" icon of the device and then "ignore this device".
after that I refreshed the BT and then my iPad found the HT CT380 device and after I clicked on it, it was immidiately connected.
I have this same problem as well. I have not found a solution. Both my iMac and Sony soundbar claim they support A2DP/AVRCP, but they will not sync up.
Try to reset the sound bar. Press and hold vol/input them press on/off.
What I found is that if the bar has already been paired it won't pair with another device untl reset. I'm going to send in a question to Sony to find out why. The manual states that it supports up to 9 devices.
Thank you for posting these instructions, I just paired my iPhone5 with the Sony Soundbar.
I had the same problem but I FOUND THE SOLUTION (alone) 🙂
You must press and hold the Bluetooth button on Sony and you Mac will find it. For pairing, you must click on "Ht-CT260" on BT preferences of Mac.
Thanks so much, Marco! That's the easiest way to get it to work!
Marco, you are the man. Many weeks trying to solve my problem. Thanks, mccislcm
LEGEND!!
Work perfectly!!
Thank you!
NICE!!! This is the answer I was looking for!
I even had the bluetooth board replaced yesterday (my computer is under apple care protection), but nothing works until now!
Thanks a lot!!
Hi,
When I connect my Mac to the Sony Bravia TV through a HDMI cable to watch a program the Sony sound bar stops working. How do I get the sound to come through the sound bar ?
Thanks
Thanks Marco!
Hi, I am having the same issue, have you found the solution?
Someone posted it above.. you need to read through. Hold the pairing button on the remote and you'll see it on the mac.
Does anyone have very choppy audio once paired? The sound cuts out every second or three.
