how do you wipe and restore to factory settings without the install disk for an iMac OS X 10.6.8

I'm trying to sell my iMac, I upgraded to a new Macbook Pro and already backed up all my files. I need to know how do you wipe and restore to factory settings without the install disk for an iMac OS X 10.6.8? Please somebody help!!

You need that disc... Contact AppleCare and for a nominal Handling fee they will send you the appropriate Disc(s) for your machine.

Be sure to have your Serial Number handy and your Date of Purchase.
