In iTunes it seems like Home Sharing is on but i can't see the Home Sharing tab nor i can find the shared libraries.
P.S:
I have the latest version of iTunes.
In preferences/general section shared libraries has a check mark.
Other computer is also a Macbook.(It also has the latest version of iTunes.)

Have both your systems succesfully connected to the iTunes store and been authorized as one of the 5 allowable mac systems under your Apple ID?
I recall having an issue like this at one point and not getting home sharing to work, despite having the preferences set in iTunes. I had no intention of using my older mac with the store, but had to re-enable the store, sign on, and then I disable it under itunes preferences parental controls.
My shared libraries show up on both computers in the iTunes sidebar under a heading "shared".
