I dont see the code on itunes when trying to install remote to itunes
hp pavilion dv6000, Windows Vista
iTunes and iPhone must be on the same local network.
Do you see your iTunes library name in the Remote app?
Did you sign in Home sharing on your iTunes and iPhone?
Try to disable Firewalls/antivirus on your PC.
Tried turning off firewall and yes same network but i dont see libarary name on the remote app sign in homesharing still nothing
A friend of mine has the same problem. I solved it but I don't remember exactly how. It was something about firewall exeptions, windows defender and all these stuff. If I meet him I will check his laptop and I will post these settings.

Hey thanks no need for ur friend help but i did solve the problem turn off firewall then dont know why it work this time because last time did the same thing didnt work but all i did is -- turn of firewall turn on itunes then plug in the iphone the open remote app and did the process,it ask for my passcode.Another problem came i kept putting the passcode but it would go because it said it was incorrect i was like huh? but then i made sure i hit ENTER when put the code then it went in. JUST incase somebody having trouble putting the code make sure they hit enter.THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP APPRECIATED!
