The ipad 4 does not have a hotspot, how do I then use my ipads internet on my mac?

    Hotspot avalability depends on 2 factors.

     

    1. The type of iPad.

    2. The Cellular service provider.

     

    Assuming the iPad is a Cellular capable version, thenits up to the cellular carrier to allow or disallow the usage of Hotspot.  You may need to get a contract with a specific plan that will allow the Hotspot functionality

     

    Talk to your Cellular service provider for the iPad service./
