iPad 2 Wi-Fi Password Change

Hello,

The Wi-Fi password for the access point where I work was changed. I have the new password. The problem is that I can't get the iPad to let me change the password. When I click the little arrow next to the ID, the 'Forget this network' option is NOT there. Also, I have gone to the General settings and reset the Network Settings. Still no luck. It just continually tries connecting with the old password that is saved in there because I can't put in the new password. It tries and then has a popup saying Unable to Connect. I even tried totally closing out the Settings icon and powering off/on the iPad.

You would think there would just be a little passphrase box when you click the arrow next to the ID you want to change, but no.

iPad 2, Version 6.0.1.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,

Eric

I've found the solution.

Go in settings

->wifi

->disable wifi if you are connected to the router

->re-enable wifi

->tap on "other"

->enter the router name (exactly the same!) and the password.

I still think it would just be easier to have a passphrase box but oh well.
