Why does my mouse keeps on disconnecting?? its really annoying using it
iMac (21.5-inch Mid 2011), Mac OS X (10.6.6)

I have no clue why...however, try these steps:
Reset PRAM
Reset SMC
Make the mouse a favorite.

The Magic Mouse is known to loose connection for many (not all) users. There is no known solution (in many cases). Send feedback to Apple:
