Dec 23, 2012 9:54 AM in response to dmandersonby Leitir,I am having the same problems for a good week now. Apple TV, which I only bought last May, is no longer working. More often than not, it cannot view any wifi network, the odd time it connects, most of the time it does not. And even when it does connect, it never stays connected for more than 5 or 10 minutes before losing connectivity again and back to square 1. I am very annoyed as I have made the full transition to cloud for film and music, and am faced with the prospect of none of these in the main part of our house for Christmas. I had been singing the praises of Apple TV up to this, but no more I think. I have never been as annoyed or as frustrated with Apple as I am now. I am booked to take a call from Apple Support tomorrow - it will be interesting to see how that goes!

Dec 28, 2012 9:52 AM in response to Leitirby doubleorose,My ATV won't stay connected to my network. I've tried all the usul troubleshooting suggestions. Once in a while ATV comes back and lasts for an hour or so then gets disconnected from the network again. It doesn't see any networks most of the time. I'm soooo frustrated. today I take it to the Apple Store for help. I did not buy into Apple Support. Have you found a solution to this problem?

Dec 28, 2012 12:14 PM in response to doubleoroseby Leitir,I only bought mine last May, so maybe that made a difference. I booked a call back from Apple, choosing the option in the drop down menu that indicated that it was still a problem covered by warranty. I have to say that the quality of customer service from Apple was excellent. They called exactly on time and listened carefully to the problem as I outlined it. I had exhausted every option by this stage, including the purchase of a new wifi router. They suggested restoring the Apple TV via iTunes on my laptop, but did say that if that did not work, then they would replace it. With replacement, they send out a special box, I return the ATV in that box, and then they send out a new one. Before that, in trying to restore the software on the ATV, I purchased a Micro USB cable, but the restore option did not work. In fairness, there was no hassle in organising the replacement at that point. At time of writing, I await the arrival of the box from Apple, but it is Christmas, so it could be a few days yet. Having surveyed the forums etc., I get the impression that other have had similar diffficulties. I would suggest booking that call back.
