Hi! I'm wondering what if I buy Logic Pro as a physical copy, will it be saved as Purchased on Mac AppStore? I can actually download it, but i really love boxes:-) So the question is: will I be able to update it; will it be saved as Purchased for further installation on my others Macs?

Well, if you really want to spend $500 for a software, you can also buy for $199 (Logic Pro)... But no, the Mac App Store doesn't know that you own the box and therefore there is no download option available.

Dan, the App store version is the main version now, when you purchase from the App Store it's saved under your name and Apple I.D. You can sign on and download it to your other machines.
The Boxed version is $499 if you can find it, the App store version is $199.
So..forget the boxes.
