History: the original battery somehow grew and grew and could not be held anymore by the laptop casing so I removed it. After about a year without a battery, I bought this new one, not original, but an accepted clone ( http://www.better-e.nl/cshop/index.php?route=product/product&keyword=A1185&categ ory_id=37&description=A1185&product_id=350 ). Fits perfectly, but my MacBook 13" A1181 does not seem to recognise it when I put it in. The battery symbol in the screen has a cross. When I push the LEDS on the battery itself, they light up green all 5 for about 2 seconds. In the explanatory article http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3205?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US this is not mentioned so I don't know what it means.

Any help is much appreciated!!
