Change the playlist of which itunes will play next number from?

Okay here's the problem. I itunes 11 they removed the itunes dj and replace with a queue system. It works with the play next and queue feature but I am missing something. With Itunes dj you could change the playlist it would play next number from (if there are none in queue) without stopping the music.

So what I wanna do is to start playing an hour from playlist 1. Then after that I wanna change to another playlist but without stopping the music.

Anyone found a way to do this?
