I bought an itouch 2 for my kids but none of the apps will sync over.
Is there a way to update the itouch (it says it is up to date) or is there a solution?
Now the app sync section is "greyed" out.

Sorry... But...
Your Device is as Up to date as it is going to get... That is iOS 4.2.
There is No workaround to Sync Apps that require a higher iOS.
