Did your friend also include the original OS X disks that came with the system? If not, go back and get them. They will allow you to reload the system and the applications.

my friend do not hae the disks so what should i do?
Call Apple and request that they ship you a replacement set of install CDs for the Mac. They will charge you a nominal fee for shipping and handling.
Hopefully they will still have them.

Are you certain the applications have been deleted? Is the HD icon on the desktop? Maybe you can launch applications from the applications folder if they have not been deleted.
ok, in the menu bar, there should be finder, open it.
search up the file com.apple.dock.plist. Delete it, and restart

when i do this what is going to happen will i get everything back???
chuche, if the hard drive was erased the install discs are the only way to resolve this that I am aware of.

As an alternative, you can buy a copy of the operating system and the iLife product, which is most of what was on the original install disks that didn't come with your system. One source for unopened Apple software is hardcoremac.com.
However, it sounds like you can log onto the system, yes? On the menu bar, towards the apple on the left, it says File. If you click on that can you also click on "new finder window"? If yes, what does it show you?
