Dec 24, 2012 8:01 AM in response to mende1by darbyodeli,Thank you for your input Mende1. My husband and I are both nervous about doing as directed in the link (Remove your startup volume from the list by selecting it and clicking the minus icon in the lower-left corner of this window. ) And in following the second suggestion, we saw no place that would "show hidden purchases". I am pretty new to the Mac world and have not been too tech savvy even prior, but my husband is quick on this stuff & well educated about it so if he is hesitant to do something, I trust his instincts.
This question is for other users...Do you agree with Mende1's suggestions? Do you have any other suggestions? FYI to everyone...When I go to my purchased apps, Pages is not listed there. I assume it is because it was preinstalled when I bought my computer & I can find nowhere to get me to where I can see "hidden apps".
Thank you for your quick response last night Mende1, and I hope you understand my hesitancy and need for a second opinion.
Merry Christmas,
Darby.
