Anyone facing issue with login to iMessage on you iPhone or iPad3. The apple ID is working fine with app store, icloud etc.. but only with the iMessage it fails to login.
Settings -> Messages
it prompts to key in the apple ID & password but does not accept the credentials

According to http://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/ no iMessage is up. If you are having troubles loging in try turning iMessage off then back on to ensure reactivation. Also try reseting the device and then trying to log in to iMessage.
new iPad Mimi 3 here and unable to login to iMessage or FaceTime . No error message and simply returns to sign in screen.
5 Days with escalated support . Everything is fine like email and surfing but my son got this for me to FaceTime
