Does the composite video cable support movies with captions played from iPhone 4s? I can play the movie to an old school CRT TV, but no captions or subtitles appear. The movie is listed in the store as having closed captions. I don't suspect the cable, honestly, because even watching it directly on the iPhone screen doesn't show captions. I've enabled caption viewing in Setup > Video.

Do you have CC/ST turned on? The users guide:
•• Show or hide subtitles (if available): Tap , then choose a language, or Off, from the
Subtitles list.
•• Show or hide closed captioning (if available): Go to Settings > Videos.
