My Time Capsule was repaired about a year ago, but I am just now trying to reconnect it to imac with no success. First tried airport wireless,but utility would not detect the TC(wireless). TC flash amber. With ethernet would detect TC, but not wireless

My Time Capsule was repaired about a year ago, but I am just now trying to reconnect it to my imac with no success. First tried airport wireless, but Time Machine utility would not detect the TC(wireless). The TC only flash amber. Again I tried with ethernet connected betwen the imac and TC. The utility would detect the TC, but would not recognize the wireless connection. I believe I followed the steps for setting up the time capsule. Would this be a problem in the TC that was not fixed a year ago, or is in the imac?
