How do you stop the Radio on Apple TV 3rd gen?

Ok, I can't believe I can't figure this out...

I started listening to a radio station using the Radio app on the Apple TV and now I can't figure out how to shut it down.

I can press play/pause to pause it, but I can't figure out how to stop it entirely. Even when I hit the menu buttons and then pause, I can't still see it listed as Now Playing.

I'm utterly confused
