Hi MummaEvie,

You will need to restore the device in iTunes on a computer.

Connect your iPad to your computer via USB and wait for the iPad to become visible in iTunes. From the device screen within iTunes click "Restore".

iTunes will walk you through the process of restoring the deivce. After this process the iPad will function as new.

Hope this helps,

Cheers,

Have you actually confirmed this as working, or are you just guessing?

All previous posts from people who've tried restoring demo iOS devices have resulted in a still demo iOS device. There is a special software kit, only available to authorised sellers from Apple for managing demo iOS devices.

Just assuming...

It's safe to say that on a hardware level the device is identical to a non demo unit. So after successfully restoring the device it should function as any othe would.

You will need to put the device into DFU mode to restore. This process may need to be done twice. Ill include a link below on how to do this. DFU stands for Device Firmware Upgrade and is used to completely restore the device to a clean state

DFU Mode restore: https://www.google.com.au/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=2&ved=0CDkQtwIwAQ&url=http%3A%2 F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3Dx6FSHAp6fvk&ei=x4jZUPTHKumTiAeYvoHQAw&usg=AFQj CNHTbPTkWJkhBF4o6JlNkWRSMqVUDg

(Not the best video ever, but it does the job)

Once your ipad is in DFU mode plug it into your computer and restore with iTunes.

Hope this helps.
