Software update for iTunes 11.0.1 cancelled "Error 3072"

Hey everybody,

If someone could help me I would be soooo thankful on this Christmas Eve!!!! I have already updated iTunes to version 11.0 , then I get a software update alert from the App Store saying I need to update to iTunes 11.0.1. Each time I click on the Update button I get the following error box:

Can anybody tell me what is going on???

There is a simple solution to error code 3072 when installing upgrades.

Ensure all other users are logged out.

This fixes the problem. From my experience so far you do not have to reboot your mac.
