Q: Late 2011 macbook pro and i don't see AirPlay Mirroring in Displays Preferences, my computer should support this shouldnt it????

hello there i have a late 2011 macbook pro and i don't see AirPlay Mirroring in Displays Preferences, my computer should support this shouldnt it???? I have just had apple tv for xmas.

It is your OS. Mirror is only on OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion and you have 10.7 Lion.  You need to purchase it from the app store.

 

There is a third party app called airparrot, www.airparrot.com too.
