How to how to organize music in iTunes 11 by genre, then artist, then album in thumbnail

I have a 180gb libarary of music and the new version iTunes 11 destroyed all the organization of my music.

Everytime I add something in the library I sort the music according to a set of personal design of genres, and I need the maximum of visibility in an hyerarchical way. The new interface makes every search difficult and time consuming. Well, if I remember well, Apple was famous for the usability / user friendly quality of their interface. What is this? I tried to install the previous version iTunes 10 and the operating system is not allowing me to do it.

Please, help me with a real solution.

All the best,

Adrian

I didn't like before the new layout of the new iTunes. What I did, I clicked "View > Show Sidebar then Show Status Bar". It made my browsing easier. If you're on you iDevice like iPod, you can add any column you want and arrange songs ascending or descending depends on the column you click but I think if you're on Library, it will be arranged per album. Not so sure if this has answered your question as I am still not so familiar with the new iTunes yet. You can try smart playlist also.
