chargin my ipod touch 5th generation

So two months ago i gotted a ipod touch 5th generation, ever since i gotted it its been working fine and is doing what its suppose to do. I have only dropped 1 time so far and the charger was working fine last night, i was chargin it for about 5 mins and i usually charge it to full battery every time but didnt last night. Now this morning i have tried to charge it for more than 5 minutes and it wont go from two lines of battery or up and it sometimes just disconnect from the charger cable. Have i broke my ipod´s chargin system?😕
