Can I return an iPod classic and exchange for a iPod touch 5th generation?

Bought a classic ipod with 160g for my daughter. Come to find out this device does not support voice over. That is a problem because she is blind.

She just received it for Christmas, I ordered on line. I would like to exchange it for an iPod touch 5 the generation. Is that possible?
