Size of usage/capacity not showing when syncing iPods and iPds?

With the recent upgrade of iTunes I no longer get the bar across the bottom which shows how much capacity I have used on the device (and via what content), and how much capacity is left.

Any ideas how I reinstate this?

Without it, it's very difficult to sync with more content as Im not sure how much space I have left.
