Q: AirPlay mirroring vs early 2011 MacBook Pro

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5404 says that AirPlay mirroring is supported by early 2011 MacBook Pro. I have checked "About this Mac" and it appears that I own an "early 2011 MacBook Pro" but when I check System Preferences/Displays I don't find AirPlay

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

It is because you have OS X 10.7. You need to purchase 10.8 Mountain Lion from the app store as mirror is a feature of that OS.

Hi Jules,

Thanks, I have purchased Montain Lion and your answeer solved my question. Unfortnatly, I don't know how to update "This helped me" to "This solved my question". But thanks anyway.
