can photos be imported to Iphoto 5 on Mac mini using os tiger 10.4.11?

    Hi, how does the Camera connect to the Mac?

     

    Open Image Capture & see if it shows it can download the pics.

    If the camera doesn't connect, get a USB camera memory card reader (about $10-20). Connect the reader to the mini and insert the camera's memory card.

    Thanks for the help on my question - I have to admit that I jumped the gun. When I posted this I had not even received the camera yet . I saw that this camera had to have at least os x 10.5, but knowing me, I ordered it anyway! That's when I started looking around for answers, here. there and everywhere! Surprisingly when I connected via USB, the darn thing started downloading to Iphoto. Photos were quick, But the 4 videos I had taken took FOREVER. I guess I still need to play with it a while to see what I an accomplish. Any help there on the video download?

    Probably be quicker if you use the camera's memory card and a USB card reader. Also saves batteries on your camera.
