I insure my iPhone 5 and my iPad 3rd generation through the Worth Avenue Group.

Here's a good price and coverage comparison.

I may receive some form of compensation, financial or otherwise, from my recommendation or link

A WAG policy gives you comprehensive coverage that includes not just unlimited coverage for accidental damage (you can file as many claims as you need within the policy period) but it also covers LOST or STOLEN equipment -- even if it occurs outside the United States! -- which Applecare Plus doesn't cover (and almost no other insurance does either)

It is also relatively easy to file a claim, and they respond right away.

Just keep a record of your orginal sales receipt.

And, if you compare the price of coverage and the deductible to similar policies (although this is the best coverage) the cost is pretty good.
