Dec 25, 2012 2:06 PM in response to AnaMusicby royla,AnaMusic, I have the same problem with my iPod Classic as Vanman52. I have tried to do the 5 step R's but iTunes doesn't show it loading. I get the Apple on a reset but iPod does not turn on. It stopped while I was listening to it. Is it totally dead or is there still something that I can do? Thanks.

Dec 27, 2012 7:36 AM in response to roylaby Vanman52,what I did to solve the issue was to hold the center round button and the menu button at the same time for approx. 15 seconds.
the apple logo came on and I let go. It then reset the unit and all was working fine.
I DID NOT HAVE IT PLUGGED IN WHEN I DID THE ABOVE. IT WAS TOTALLY ISOLATED FROM MY COMPUTER.
