How do I know what generation my ipad is?

I just received an ipad and I want to know what generation it is. The box just says ipad, and it has a camera on it....can someone help?

iPad 2, iOS 6.0.1

Go here and enter its serial number in the box.

It will tell you what generation iPad it is.
