Facetime

Dear Sirs,

I need an information about FaceTime. I bought my iPad 4generation in Dubai and when I came back to Italy, FaceTime doesn't working. So probably, the local law imposes limits on the videochat. Can You help me to find a solution?

Thanks a lot

Regards

Andrea

Hi,

Back in the days of iChat 3 there were issues with some Italian ISPs not allowing iChat to Video chat outside of the country.

I have not heard of this being a problem in Italy for a very long time.

(It is common in Dubai and other Middle Eastern Countries)

These are the ports that need to be open in your router and that the ISP should also have open

Are you sending from an Apple ID ?

This should not matter when sending wherever you are.

You may have issues if your iPad also uses a Cell/Mobile Service and the number is not "local" to where you are now.
