How to unpin icons from your desktop? - macbook pro retina
I am new with mac computers and i am unsure how to unpin icons of programs that i have recently opened from the desktop. any help appreciated. thanks!

if by "unpin", you mean "quit", right click on the program(s) icon in the dock and select "quit".
