I am trying to download some games and it keeps saying waiting what do I need to do. T

I am new to apple and I am trying to download some games and movies. The movies I can not find them and the games just keep saying waiting. I feel like this thing is not working right. If someone could let me know what I am doing wrong or what I need to do.
