Got apple Tv for christmas and the remote controls my itunes on my iMac as well as my apple tv! So frustrating! How do I unpair? Already tried System Prefences>Security>General, no IR remote upair anywhere. Please Help!!

You can only Pair or disable remote control for the Mac. If it is paired, it will only respond to that remote, and you can unpair it.
I turned off the IR Sensor on my Mac Mini.
System Preferences ---> Security & Privacy ---> Advanced... ---> Check the "Disable remot control infrared reciever" box
I'm not able to click on my advanced box. But i just went about it another way, I read that all apple remotes will control all unpaired apple products, and if paired it only responds to that remote. So I paired my old little white apple remote that i use to use back before they got rid of Front Row and paired it with my iMac, so it ignores my apple tv remote now 🙂 Thanks for your help guys 🙂
