Frozen after attempting to update.

I was updating my iPod (newer 4th generation) on my computer, and right before it finished an alert popped up informing me that the update could not be completed because an error had occurred. Since then, my iPod is frozen with the screen indicating to connect it to iTunes, but when I do nothing happens- my computer/iTunes won't even acknowledge it. I have tried charging it and resetting it by holding down the power button (and the power/home buttons) but nothing changes. Please help.

Maybe:

Unknown Error containing "0xE" when restoring

To resolve this issue, follow the steps in iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Unknown error containing '0xE' when connecting. If you have a Windows computer with an Intel® 5 series/3400 series chipset, you may need updates for your chipset drivers. See iTunes for Windows: Issues syncing iOS devices with P55 and related Intel Chipsets for more information.
